Hi,
Lots of information at Disable Flash: http://faq.ozoneasylum.com/446/ The first solution on that page involves some registry editing and may not be for everyone. Read the whole page for other solutions. I use EMS Free Surfer Companion from http://www.kolumbus.fi/eero.muhonen/FS/ It stops pop-ups and can disable Flash. If flashplayer has been installed you should be able to remove it from [C:\WINDOWS\ (or WINNT) Downloaded Program Files] Hope this helps, Don [MS MVP- IE/OE] "monteiro41" falsoperdiz[at]yahoo.com wrote in message ... That's Macromedia Flash.....it is prompting you to download/install because
you don't apparently have it and it is reqireed to view content on the sites you're visiting. "monteiro41" wrote in message ...
