Everything works just fun.
But I want to block just one particular machine from chat usage. I have

Stdin/stdout tunneling through sockets to child process under Win9X by
Bedrich Svoboda
I need to use telnet to control console based applications (such as
cmd.exe/command.com) on different machines. Simplest way how to do it is to
listen on some port of the host. When accept() returns (telnet is
connecting), create the desired process with standard handles redirected to
the...

Setup after meltdown by
[email protected]
After reformatting and reinstalling Win98 I'm trying to set up
networking.
In Control Panel - Networking I bring up properties for the TCP/IP
listed for my adapter. In Bindings it shows two components, neither of
which is the network adapter.
Is this right? The adapter bindings show TCP/IP,...

WinXP cannot view Win98 printer on network by
psufan
Although not highly technical, I was able to set up a wireless network in my
home using a Netgear router / 802.11 g card in a Win XP laptop. My "main"
computer - the one connected to the router - is running Win 98. This was
successful, and now I can wirelessly surf via the laptop.
However, I...

RTL8169. I am attempting to use this to connect to a second PC (running XP
but never been near the internet) via a CAT5 crossover cable to the second

Licensie by

Hi there,
my dad asked me today if it is true that you have to pay Microsoft each year
for the license and Windows update, since that is what they were told by
their Head Quarters... and they were charged 100 Euro yearly for the PC they
use.
I never have heard of this, but maybe the rules are...

1-way 98/XP network access problem by
DaddySchlich
The following is strange, at least to me. I have three PCs (XP SP2, W98SE, &
W98) wired together to a hub. I recently had to "repair" W98SE (reinstall
from the original CD without reformatting the drive).
At the moment, I get full access to *all* 3 computers from my XP SP2 and W98
machines -...
