Windows finds, then loses, sound cards by
[email protected]
Hello,
I have a problem that I haven't seen here yet, although I expect it is
here somewhere.
I have a desktop PC, 350 MHz, running Win98SE.
One day it "lost" the sound card. I re-installed it, and went through
all the steps of installing drivers. Windows said it was installed
correctly.

Hi
Thank for any help anyone could give me. When I click on the media player,
it opens only in the task bar but not on the screen. Sometimes it just
disappears in the right corner of the screen without the possibility for me
to maximise or do anything with it. Thanks for a early reply
