SR allocation keeps changing
Hi Mike :-)
I just wish I knew why the allocated space kept defaulting to maximum. This really is very peculiar but now you know the problem it's one that can relatively easily be dealt with. Yes, just keep changing it back, for whatever good, as it changes as soon as I reboot. BTW seems you keep my sort of hours as I guess it's well gone 1a.m. in your neck of the woods. :-) Heh...yeppa......I'm a night owl. When I get a bone to chew on, I'm one to stay at it until it suits me.....or ME ;-)))) Jan |

SR allocation keeps changing
Jan,
When SR next resets or loses its checkpoints check the dates, both creation and modification, for the various files in the _RESTORE folder (not the subfolders, just the five files in the top folder). This might help give a clue as to what happened. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP Jan Il wrote: Hi Mike :-) I just wish I knew why the allocated space kept defaulting to maximum.
