When you boot with CD-ROM support, a Ramdrive is installed. The Ramdrive
takes the first letter after the hard drive(s) and the CD-ROM the letter
following that. So the usually-designated D: CD-ROM drive is shifted up to
E. If you change to D: you'll be in the Ramdrive.

Bootup with a startup floppy. If you don't have one you can download it

from www.bootdisk.com.

Select with CD-ROM support.

At the A:\ prompt type:

FORMAT C: (press enter)

When the process ends, put the WinME CD in the drive.

Now type:

E:\SETUP (press enter)

This should launch the Windows install process that will take you 40-60

minutes to finish.

You will end (or restart...??) with a fresh install of Windows, but no

other software.
