You appear to have allowed a commercial parasite to be installed. That
you system cannot find C:\progra~1\newdot~\newdot~2.dll could be a good thing and mean that you have partially removed this parasite and all that remains is to remove the entry in the registry that is attempting to launch it each time you boot your PC. You can do that my using MSConfig (Start, Run, enter MSConfig in the box and click OK), open the Startup tab and uncheck all entries that refer to C:\progra~1\newdot~\newdot~2.dll This is intrusive scumware that does little more than cripple your browsing. Add/Remove Programs and remove New.net. Once you have done that go to LavaSoft's site (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and get yourself a copy of the free Ad-Aware SE Personal edition and run it and/or SpyBot Search & Destroy 1.3 (http://www.safer-networking.org/) and perhaps also BHO Demon and rid yourself of this odious junk and other similar parasites that do nothing to enhance your use of your computer. See also http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/NewDotNet.html Some details are contained in MS KB 320162 - "Internet Explorer Stops Responding or the Home Page Takes a Long Time to Open" (http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=320162) and also 302463 - "Error Message: Iexplore Caused an Invalid Page Fault in Module Unknown with SaveNow or New.net Installed" (http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=302463). Note that in a few hours a NewCr$pNet representative may post more of their lies to this thread. My advice is to ignore them, they are interested in nothing more than peddling their unwelcome software on unsuspecting users. If the net community and ICANN had wanted the top level domains sold by Cr$pnet then ICANN would have set them up accordingly but they didn't so NewCr$p decide instead to break with internet standards and meddle with your PC and wreck your browsing. IMO such companies and all those involved in them should be taken to court and prosecuted for their unwelcome intrusions. -- Mike Maltby Rita wrote: Rundll Error loading C:\progra~1\newdot~\newdot~2.dll The system cannot find the file specified *I get this error everytime I turn on the computer |

You and the company you work for wouldn't know "accurate" or "truth" if it

You should probably go back and read those MSKB articles that you
reference regarding our software and especially double check the applications that you refer users to remove our software with. Adaware and SpyBot no longer target our software. New.net is a member of C.O.A.S.T and have proven countless times that our software is not a parasite, adware, spyware, or any other reference that you choose to use. Your instructions do no help users and I suggest that you simply refer them to our removal instructions. Customer Support New.net, Inc. "Mike M" wrote in message ... I have no interest in the crap you put out other than to try and ensure
that those poor users whose systems you destroy learn what a disreputable individuals you and your colleagues are and that the company you work for should be wiped out of existence. Is that clear enough for even your feeble and warped intellect to understand? Your continual lies and mis-information do nothing to inspire any confidence in any poor sucker whose PC you infect with your malware. UseNet has NO need for the false domains you purvey. That you have forced SpyBot and AdAware to no longer detect your crap is no doubt simply the result of your lawyers gagging them. Your software causes totally unnecessary problems and the WWW has zero need for the crap your company purveys. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP [2001-2004] Crap.netCustomer Support wrote: You should probably go back and read those MSKB articles that you reference regarding our software and especially double check the applications that you refer users to remove our software with. I can tell you that no customer of mine has ever knowingly or willingly
installed new.net and I doubt sincerely that a company representative from new.net would care enough to help people whose machines are infected with their software. Not once has a single one out of my 500+ database of customers ever asked for, requested or otherwise indicated the need or desire or purpose of new.net. There are several Winsock Repair tools available that repair the damage to the TCP/IP stack that new.net offers. Finally, if this person truly is an official representative of new.net, why are they using an anonymous and free Gmail account? I think this is just a troll looking to yank people's chains, or just another example of the questionable practices new.net participates in. Carey "New.net Customer Support" wrote in message om... Nah, that's the way they do business here. Post from an anonymous account
(or at least one that's not connected to their real business). Been that way since they started occasionally trolling the newsgroups and replying to the 'evil naysayers' who disparage their software. -- Richard G. I'd love to see some class-action litigation against new.net to hold them
responsible for the cost of repairs that people are forced to undertake when new.net does not uninstall properly or when the end-user does not "remove it properly." I can tell you from my experience and the amount I have billed to re-instate internet connectivity, that my billing alone over the last few years fixing the damage resulting from a new.net installation would be a 5 figure number. New IP addresses are the main reason for IPv6, which makes new.net's excuses and entire purpose for existence (by their own definition) obsolete. http://www.fcw.com/fcw/articles/2004...n-08-30-04.asp http://www.ipv6.org/ "Richard G.
