Default Norton Antivirus 2005

I just renewal my Norton Antivirus from the 2004 version to the 2005.
Everything seems to be working fine, except, they it does not scan my emails.
everytime I boot-up, I get two errors:

1. Error 'Symantec Email Proxy cannot scan your email messages because your
network is not properly configured: (1003.13)

2. Error starting Program the IPHLPAPI.DLL file cannot start. Check the file
to determined the problem.

I've talked with the Norton support, we concluded that error #1, is being
cause by Error #2. and they couldn't help, because it an Microsoft issue.

I did a Find File, and I located the file, it's on my C drive, but I don't
know how to check it to determined the problem. I tryied to open it If I can
fix Error #2, Error #1 will go alway.

I've already installed the Norton Antivirus twice, still getting the errors.

Can anyone help???

Are you using Microsoft Broadband networking hardware?
MSBBN: "Iphlpapi.dll Cannot Start" Error Message When You Try to Install
Broadband:

or have you installed AOL9.0 recently?
If so, try going back to AOL 8
