Default Need Windows ME Start Up Disk

I know this is a crazy yet simple question, but I need a
Windows ME start up disk. Where can I get one?
Also, if I use say, a Windows 98 start up disk, will I
screw up my HD?

All I want to do is try to get to system restore, but the
computer hangs at my desktop wallpaper. I cannot even
get a start button. (This was all due to a Creative Labs
stinking Soundblaster driver! It won't close program on
it a dialog box.)

Thank you in advance for any help. I am a student and
need my darned computer to run again!

Sincerely,

Nicolette :-)

If you are unable to create a boot floppy you can download the image of a
Win Me OEM boot disk from www.bootdisk.com. Download to your desktop,
double click to run and follow the prompts to transfer the image to a
floppy. You don't have to be running Win Me on the system you use when you
download and make the Win Me boot floppy.
