twain ?
Is it true that "twain" stands for,
"technology without an interesting name" ....just heard it on the Radio - couldn't believe it ! regards, Richard ....off to bed now or I'd Google and fin d out for myself. |

Twain is not an acronym, it is just a name. Yes, it is known to mean that,
rather too officially. Twain is an image acquisition device driver standard that provides an interface allowing most image editing software to directly acquire images from that device, and with it more than one imaging device can be connected to your computer.
