Default two hdd set up

O k guys I have the two hard drives in with the 8 gb set to slave and the 2
gb set as master. The w98 boots up but I dont believe it regonizes the slave
how do you set it to read it? both have w98 on it already, what I would like
to do is format both and install it on the master and then use the 8gb for
the little ones games is this possible and if yes how?There will be know
internet just some 6 year old kids stuff.

If the drive is partitioned, formatted and recognized by the BIOS, it should
show up in Windows Explorer as D: drive (if there is more than one partition
involved, more than one drive should show up). Formatting and installing
the system are covered he

it's probable that you're using FAT16 instead of FAT32. FAT16 can not see
any drive over 2gb.

FAT16 works just fine with drives over 2Gb, and W98SE can see both FAT16 and
FAT32 partitions, so the partition type that OP is using will not be
relevant to the issue.
