no thumbnails

I have my Windows Explorer set to view thumbnails on every
directory...but only icons appear.
I used to get the thumbnails views but windows crashed and
they never appeared again... only Photoshop PSD images
will show as thumbnails....jpg, gif, bmp etc won't.
any suggestions?

If you've lost the ability to display thumbnails of your pictures then
this is possibly due to some of the necessary registry entries having been
damaged, often as a result of installing a graphics application or viewer
such as Photoshop or ACDSee,

To fix this, enter the following from a command prompt such as Start |
Run:

REGSVR32 THUMBVW.DLL

and press enter. Hopefully this should re-register thumbvw.dll and add
back the necessary missing registry entries. If not post back as there
are other fixes available but this one seems to fix the problem for most
users.
