Can you still get hotfixes from Microsoft for Windows 98, 98SE andME?
I was wondering if hotfixes were still available for 98, 98SE and ME
since these operating systems are in the non-supported phase although Windows Update and self-help for these operating systems are still available. |

From what I've been told, hot fixes will be available IF they were available
for general download. For those that required a call to MS, they are no longer available but you could always try posting to the newsgroup and see if someone has it. The download center will be around for at least a year. The knowledge base folks will try to retain KB articles as long as they can and the articles will be there for at least a year. -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "Dan" wrote in message ... If you have time to spare, you may wish to view this unofficial website.
http://www.mdgx.com/. Scroll down to the heading Windows 98/98 SE + DOS 7 and then select. There is a vast collection of helpful useful tips that you may wish to book mark for future use.
