Downloads into Wordpad format
When I download applications, they are opening up in
Wordpad and I can not use this. How do I change this from the default? Example, tried to download upgrades of Acrobat and Netscape, they both opened in Wordpad Thanks |

What is the filename extension of the downloaded files? It seems that you
are double-clicking the files to open them. Instead, open the application that they are designed for (eg, WinZip if they are ZIP files) and then use the File / Open menu option to access the files. Once you have confirmed that the application is appropriate for the file type you can change the association. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) " wrote in message ...
