Network Password

How do I get rid of a network password? Someone accidently entered a
password and now can't remember so no one can access the net. This is
on a computer running Win98se.

When does the password prompt appear? When you start Windows? When
you connect to the Internet? When you run Internet Explorer? Another
time?

What is the complete and exact text of the password prompt?
