Win98 and Mass Storage Devices
Can't Microsoft port all those lovely USB Mass Storage
Device drivers from ME back to 98 and give it to us to download as a Christmas present? Since ME and 98 are both quite similair (I 'borrowed' the compressed folder applet from ME and it works fine in 98). |

There's alot of new files in ME that work fine in 98/98SE. Most commonly
known is defrag. Lesser known is ndis.vxd from ME, to allow immediate use for PCs over 2.2 GHz for 98/98SE installs. Seems logical to me for MS not to provide these as solutions. Forces public to upgrade=$ for MS. "Travis Swift" wrote in message ...
