Default Help The Dummy Please

I just purchased a Logitech Optical Mouse to replace an
erratic Micro Innovations mouse. The installation
instructions simply say:
Turn off computer.
Plug mouse cable into computer.
Turn on computer.
Install Mouseware software.

Shouldn't I have to do something to purge the Micro
Innovation mouse's software/driver/whatever from my
computer?

Your help will be appreciated.

Hey Job!!! Good to see your :-) face!!!
I think I would follow the instructions, once working, then you could get
rid of the unwanted/unneeded Micro Innovations stuff at your leisure.
Heirloom, old and sometimes instructions are
good
