Default Thumbnail display?

I was just wondering if there was a way that I could set
Thumbnail as the default display for files, I find this is
much more convienient for sending files over MSN
Messenger. Thanks.

Set a folder in Explorer to display to suit your preferences then click Tools
| Folder Options | View and click the button "Apply to All Folders" in the
section "Folder views" at the top of the page.

I would if I could, however the menu option to view
Thumbnails (normally under Large Icons, Small Icons, List
and Details) is not on the menu at all. There is no way
to select the thumbnail view to then apply to all folders.
