Default Startup setting

Is there a way in 98 v2 to set to or from a startup menu? I'm getting a
startup that shows a pick list for, among other things, starting in Safe
mode. I don't remember how I turned that on, but I'd like to turn it
off.

Run msconfig.exe, advanced button, remove the mark from Enable start menu
and OK.
