Incorrect Date Display at Start-up
The display date always reverts back to 4th January 1980
at start-up - the time remains correct. Please advise. Thanks Tom |

Your internal computer battery is almost certainly dead.
Open the casing, remove the battery carefully and go along to the nearest computer store for a replacement. Set the date and time on startup again.
