Dual Boot with windows 2000
Using a Win Me boot floppy boot to DOS and then use the command:
SYS C: This should then allow the system to boot directly to Win Me after which you can delete the Windows 2000 files. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP jc wrote: i have a windows me os and installed windows 2000 with a dual boot, i manually uninstalled 2000, however it still shows the selection screen between me and 2000. how do i get rid of this. thanks |

Incorrect. Instead you need to reinstate the Win Me MBR by SYSing the drive.
Win Me does not use boot.ini. ntldr or ntdetect.com. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP Jerry wrote: You edit the boot.ini file. |
