Default PCMCIA cards son't work correctly

I have a Compaq 1200 with Windows 98se in it and I have a
pcmcia card that requires 32-bit support. when i put the
card in the drive the computer does nothing. but when i
put a card that (ether the driver is already installed or
the card is 16-bit) it workd fine. I think when i
reinstalled windows the card wouldn't work correctly, but
the card has worked before. I have ran the 32-bit wiz but
i dont think it worked.

here is the info to take in mind:
-the card has worked before
-other cards work in the drive accept (wireless, USB-
2,exc...[32-bit cards])
-The computer doesn't see the card when i put the card
(s) in
