I am getting the same thing all the time. I have gone here
and to all the sites they list for help and cannot find
the answer. I have security, virus protection, firewalls,
and keep my computer clean up to date, defrag, and all I
have many years of computer experience and never have
encountered this type of recurring problem. And if you
look at the posts we are not alone. I think there is
something strange going on in windows and nobody knows how
to fix it. I personally have been searching for well over
a month and still can't find the answer. I am about to
give up and just live with it until microsoft or someone
comes up with the answer.

You will most likely not find a "fix" per se for your particular error, as most
fatal exceptions require a lot of troubleshooting to pin down. They can be due to
either software or hardware. I suggest starting with a clean boot for
troubleshooting:

How to Perform Clean-Boot Troubleshooting for Windows 98

Also, do some testing for malware, and run a memory test from a boot floppy using
one of these utilities:

DocMemory

MemTest86+:

Windows Memory Tester

Further troubleshooting he
