Unable to access files on win 98 computer from XP.
Having a strange problem, Have mutiple Win98 and XP
machines on a network. The one Win 98 computer that I'm having trouble connecting to with any XP machine on the network. I see the files and printer on the Win98 machine but when I click on it the following message comes up "(computer name)is not accessable. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the adminstrator of the server to find out if you have access permissions. The parameter is incorrect." Now any of the other WIN 98 machines can connect ot this 1 computer and this 1 computer can connect to any of the other computers (both XP and 98) and access there files. Any suggestions? |
