Default Rundll in win98

Hi: I've been trying to uninstall a program that has no
executable uninstall program, but has a file called
uninst.dll. I thought if I ran rundll, I could change it
to an exe file. But quick-view shows rundll as being for
win95, and rundll32 for windows NT. Am I being stupid even
thinking this might work? Thanks

I don't see that it can work but why not ask the author of the program
how to uninstall it?
You may even get someone here who is familiar with the program if you
name it.
Another option...if you can supply the address of the program, someone
may be able to help.

Hi, Alan: I've actually been curious as to whether I could
use Rundll.exe some way. The Quick View description says
that Rundll.exe turns DLLs into apps. I was wrong last
night - Rundll is 16bit for Windows 3x, and Rundll32 is
for win95 and NT, but Rundll32 doesn't have the
description attached. The program I want to uninstall is
Adobe Illustrator 9. I'm moving it from one partition to
another. Don't know what you mean by address of the
program. Anyway, if you don't want to bother with this,
you don't have to; as I say, I was just curious. I like to
know as many ways to do something as I can. Thanks

By address, I meant the url of the program if it was something you
downloaded.
Have a look through these and see what you think.

You may also ask the question at the adobe.illustrator.windows
newsgroup, though it appears to have been asked before.
