I was having problems with my computer and I think at one
point I may have had a virus. Loaded Norton System works and got rid of a few programs that I wasn't using. Now when I click on my start key and try and access help I get a message that says "Can't find or run the file or program HH.exe I am on windows 98. So how do I get back this file HH.EXE so I can access help. Thanks |

I type the sfc from the start run and then I choose the Extract one file from installation disk and it says to specify the system file you would like to restore, in this box I typed the d:\win98 and clicked on start but then a box opens up and says "you must select the file to extract before clicking on start" What am I missing? I am not to computer literate to please explain more. Thanks for the help -----Original Message----- 1. Start Run, type: sfc 2. Select the option to restore a single file 3. as an alternative to Steven's suggestion of using SFC to extract hh.exe, you can
install the HTML Help Update, to reinstall the related files: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=811630 from he http://www.microsoft.com/windows98/d...30/default.asp -- Glen Ventura, MS MVP W95/98 Systems http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm "Linda" wrote in message ...
