Default Quick Time Conflict

I use Win 98 SE. Windows Media Player is my default for downloads. I just
installed digital camera software which has Quick Time with it. Now, all my
Win med player icons are quick time and only play on Quick time. How can I
get my default player and icons back to Win med player.
Thank you, Tom.

Start Quicktime. Open it's options or settings. Look for a section which says 'File types'. Untick all types except the 'Quicktime Movie (*.mov)' file type. Make sure you save the changes (or it may be automatic, don't know, I don't use QT now). Close Quicktime. Now open WMP. Open it's options. File types. Make sure all the listed filetypes are ticked, and save changes (OK). Close WMP and re-boot. This should change your default player back to WMP, and hopefully all file icons back to WMP as well (although I'm not sure about this last point).
