Default S32EVNT1.DLL & SYMEVNT.386 do not match error message

Upon starting up my computer I keep getting this error
message "S32EVNT1.DLL & SYMEVNT.386 do not match". What
does this mean and how can I correct this?

Thanks!

This means that Symantec have seemingly screwed up another of their users PC.

This is a problem better asked of Symantec since both of these files are part
of the Norton suite of products. This problem can be caused by a variety of
situations including an incomplete install or uninstall of Norton programs
(IMO they should be uninstalled for all the problems they can cause users) and
installing an older version over a newer version.
