Default Installing win98 without cd rom drive

hey, i need to know this because i remember that win98 asks you if you are
using a flashdisk or something, i need to know how i can install windows 98
using a flashdisk(1 gig) on my laptop, it has no cd drive, only a floppy
drive....so if any one knows how to do this plz tell me.

As thus asked, the question seems circular.
The laptop can read a flashdrive only if it has USB 2
already installed, which requires an operating system
also be already installed.

If there is no OS, you seem out of luck. The only
possible solution would be to instal in order:
1. An OS small enough that it can be installed
from floppies. (This rules out Win98.)
1b. The laptop hard drive should then be
partitioned into at least two drives, C and D.
2. Communications software for a wire link to
another PC. This requires knowing what ports
and sockets the laptop offers.
3. Connect and copy Win98SE instal files to D:
4. Instal Win98SE as the OS on C:
5. Instal USB2 software and drivers to enable
the flashdrive.

Are you sure it is worth all that trouble?
