Message pops up
After logging onto AOL for a few minutes I get a message
on the screen that says "A required.DLL file,MSVCIRT.DLL was not found." There is no other message of information available. I conntacted AOL and they said it was a windows problem, but have not been able to contact anyone there. Thought maybe some of you have seen this message before. Thanks for any info. Charlie |

AOL is wrong. It's an AOL problem. Even if it's a Visual C runtime =
library that's missing (or can't be found, which isn't at all the same = thing), the fact that it is an AOL app that can't find it makes it an = AOL problem--hey, they want you to use their product, they darned well = ought to help you with whatever problems arise while using it, don't you = think? Anyway, I could send you to a list of articles that may apply, but = they're confusing and outdated, so I think the better solution is to = follow these steps. Can't hurt, and if they fail to solve the problem, = we'll be a bit nearer diagnosing the real problem. Download and install MDAC 2.7 SP1 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...ad000f2-cae7-= 493d-b0f3-ae36c570ade8 Run IE Repair. Go to Start=3DRun box, enter MSINFO32, click OK.
