Hello:

Thank you for your report. This is good to know since the Opera systems
requirements page no longer list Windows 98/ME as supported systems.

And it's good to know that there's at least one modern, fully up-to-date
browser fro Win 98/ME.

Thanks,
Jerry

kmeleon should still work on win9x. it's "different" from "regular" browsers in different
ways than opera is "different".
kmeleon is just a browser, not a "suite" as opera is. also, win9x nreeds some ms
runtime files dropped into kmeleon folder (possibly in system23 or similar... i don't
recall)
operausb is portable, and runs great, ime. kmeleon can be setup portable.

Check out the Opera user group at

http://my.opera.com/community/forums/forum.dml?id=26
for further info on 10.5.

User reaction seems deceidly negative. E.g. "Bookmarks are
now unusable. Opera has gone horrible wrong. Please reverse
this."
http://my.opera.com/community/forums....dml?id=452161

It appears that Opera did what it did with 9.5 and released a
piece of software not ready for prime time.

Could you actually, you know, describe what you want Opera to do? Then
someone might be able to accomplish it. Ranting and raving accomplishes
nothing.

It appears that Opera did what it did with 9.5 and released a
