pcmcia ATA Flash card reader find drive in WIN98
We have a Win 98 desktop machine with a Antec card reader
with proprietary pci card in a slot. We need to read ATA Flash cards and were able to several months back. We can't figure out what got deleted or changed to make it cease to work. The drive still beeps when we put in a card. Card services still show the card icon in the lower left when we insert the card. If we put the csmapper and the carddvr device statements in the config.sys, it creates two removable drive letters D and E. But when we put the card in, it says it can't see the card. If we delete all the drivers and start from scratch plug and play finds the slots and the cards with no problem. The cards are not new - they have been in use and are viewable from another computer. So...HELP!! Any ideas anyone? Thanks for the help. |
