Help I cannot boot to windows
Hello,
I am unable to start windows normally. When I turn on PC it gets past the windows ME screen then a black screen with a message - Cannot find System.ini. And says please insert emergency diskette or something like that. I have tried to start in safe mode and it goes to the "it is now safe to shut off computer". I don't have any emergency diskette but do however have a recovery cd. If i have to do a factory restore(which i hope not) will that mean all my infomation will be deleted? Any help to solve this prob will be appreciated. Thank You! |
