Default INSTALLING EPSON CX6000 ON USB PORT

EPSON CX6000 PRINTER UTILITY SETUP FROM A DESKTOP FILE, NOT THE CD,
GENERATES THE OS ERROR "SETUP CANNOT COPY THE FILE. SETUP DISK MAY BE
DAMAGED." I'M NOT UJSING THE CD. I CAN'T COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION USING
THE SETUP DOWNLOADED FROM EPSON OR THE CD DELIVERED WITH THE PRINTER.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME SOLVE THIS ISSUE OR SHOULD I JUST RETURN THE USB PRINTER
AND BUY A PRINTER WITH A PARALLEL PORT?
