Default FAT

When booting up my computer "scandisk encountered a data
error while reading the FAT entry for cluster 376832. This
error prevents scandisk from fixing this drive". The only
option I have is to click "OK". It continues trying to
boot but never gets by the windows 98 screen. I don't know
where to go from here.

I am running windows 98.
