microsoft internet explorer problem

help. everytime i try to open a program something that
says microsoft internet explorer has encountered a problem
and needs to close. please tell microsoft about problem
and then has a box for send error report or dont send
error report. i push send report, but it still closes the
program and tells me nothing more, does any one have a
clue. oh and it also told me had critial updates so i
updated.and had problems ever since.thanks for help
