I use many players including various versions of WMP. None is a favorite
although WinAMP, properly configured, does a great job. For you, Media
Player Classic comes to mind:

Noticed the links I'm posting are wrapping. Thought adding to
beginning and to the end was supposed to stop wrap in OE. Can someone
help?

How can we post links from OE and stop wrap (I used to do it and thought
the arrows stopped it)?

Thnx

(To put my bit in about the original thread: I agree with the last
poster, there are several good candidates; I didn't know WinAmp did well
with videos under '98, but it doesn't surprise me, and I endorse MPC's
recommendation. VLC is pretty good too, though I don't know what is the
last version that works with '98 [or where to find it - hang on,
http://www.oldversion.com/VLC-Media-Player.html].)

I suspect it's more a matter of how the reader (you in this case) has
their system set to _show_ emails. What the do - at least, they do
here on Turnpike, and I think on Outlook too - is make the multiline
link still a link. Though only on first post - once it's been quoted
(possibly only if it's had extra " " inserted at the break, but that's
the default), it doesn't work as a link.

Thank you for the link. When I see wrap I immediately paste it into
notepad, straighten it out, use it, and then throw away.

I'm going to try posting the URL here with the brackets to see if
it works on my browser and access through google:

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/dawnload.cfm?
mirror_id=0&version_id=8622&software_id=678

I'm using mplayer2 [whatever that is] usually on HD stored *.avi
files.
