Default backup utility

Greetings. I recently used the backup facility on one
win98 machine to create a backup file. When I
reconstituted the machine with a win98 OS CD, the
backup/restore facility was gone. Does anyone know where
we can obtain said programs so I can restore the files?

If you formatted, then the backup you created will be gone and not =
available for restore unless you saved it externally. MS Backup is a =
poor excuse for a backup program, you would be doing yourself a huge =
favor by purchasing either Norton Ghost or Backup MyPC, both of which =
copy the entire system including the registry or separate files which =
you select. Both also have the ability to restore individual files even =
from a full backup.=20
