Default Deleting corrupted ActiveX controls

I'm using Windows ME and my new antivirus program instructs me to delete all
corrupted ActiveX programs. I don't know how to do this.
Does this have to do with Settings or the Control Panel?
Is there an ActiveX directory? If so I can't find it.
Help please.

Hi,
These will be in [C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files.] You can browse to
them using Windows Explorer or access them from Internet Options General
TIF Settings View Objects. Set the View to Details and damaged/corrupted
objects will be marked.
