Add/Remove of Spam Blocker in the Control Panel
Have a problem configuring Outlook Express to accept my
hotmail.com url and also my Spybot has also ceased to complete it's scanning of my system since I had installed the MSN toolbar with the Spam Blocker. In researching the MSN websites, I found that there is a problem with security blocking the transfer of my hotmail to OE which is served by Verizon DSL. Also, I do not need the Spam Blocker as my hotmail filter has been working fine for my hotmail and because of my limited use of my Verizon e-mail url. I don't have a spam problem with OE. My problem is that my system will not remove the Spam Blocker through the Control Panel add/remove list. I have tried it many times. I am also worried that it may be rejecting some of my legitimate e-mail. I found that was done the first day it was on my system. That day I thought I had it removed but now a few weeks later I find that it is still hanging on and causing problems that I did not have previously. I want it gone!! Please tell me what to do. Thank You. |
