Default itunes

when trying to install itunes on win98 it gets all the way through the
installation and then just packs up, ive installed it on win xp without any
problems so i cant understand what the trouble is...any pointers?

I would start by reading the system requirements--it doesn't look to me like
it works on W98.

iTunes software does not support Windows 98, only Windows 2000 or XP.
