Default Windows ME an USB Stick

Hello!
I haven´t worked with Windows ME since the last 9 years :-)
Next week i will backup such a system.
The ME has an USB 2.0 Card with a Harddisk connected to it.
It works.
Now i must place the data on a USB Stick with 8GB, FAT32.
Will ME ask me for drivers, or will it work without?
If it needs a driver, is it integrated or is there a driver available on
the internet?

Win Me contains basic usb drivers (not necessarily usb 2.0 which are
normally supplied by the vendor such as the maker of your add-in card).
Your usb stick _should_ work without additional drivers but some devices
have additional capabilities and to use these requires additional drivers
to be installed.

My suggestion here would be to try your usb stick with the add-in usb 2.0
card and see what is the result. You've nothing to lose and should
hopefully find that it works OK.
