"port capture" to a network printer
A lot of printers now have a network port so that they can sit directly on a LAN without the need of a PC. I have these set up on Win98 and they work fine from Windows programs, but not from DOS software. Does anyone know how to print from a DOS program to a printer in this fashion? The "port capture" seems to only want a printer on another PC as the target. I really want it to go to the networked printer on the same PC. BR Don C |
