Default What is a OTF file?

(Full-quoting so Ralph gets to see Rudy's reply, despite plonking. Suck it,
bitch!)

Ralph,

I BET YOU GOT AT LEAST 30 SCRIPT ERRORS AND
20 MORE SECURITY ERRORS PER HOUR TOO !!!!

Actually, Zero of both. You see, I *know* that I can't visit some
websites (anymore). But hey, there are lots left I *can* visit.
Including Google. Something either escapes you, or you just do not want
to know. :-(

Actually, I'm more alike you than you realize. I've never installed
flash, and have disabled JS and other webpage scripting -- the former of
which could well attribute to not seeing any scripting errors. :-)

As for SSL problems ? I do not often see them, as I've got, for the
last decade or so, a local proxy installed which "does stuff" to HTTPS
references ("stuff" the proxy allowed me to write), so I am not bothered
by them (mind you, I've configured my webbrowser to warn me on most all
problems it finds. Somehow I like to be informed when a website
misbehaves ...)

That same proxy supported some newer SSL encryption methods, meaning
that I can stil visit most HTTPS webpages. Though that could end very
soon, when "the powers that be" decide to ditch a number of encryption
methods.

And than I have the same choice as I offered you: Either set up another
OS with a webbrowser which supports the newer SSL encryptions, or, just
as you, go throw away the baby with the bathwater and sulk about
everything I'm not able to do anymore. Guess what *my* choice will
probably be. :-)

WHAT PART OF THE WORDS "I DON'T CARE TO USE
THE WEB", DONT YOU UNDERSTAND?

Oh, now you have *said it* I do understand. What do you think I am, a
mindreader ?

And I take it this will be your last message to us than ? I mean,
newsgroups use "the web" too you know. Same problem for email I'm
afraid.

But, as its *your choice* to refuse to use HTTP (websites) its also
*your problem* to solve how you get your info otherwise. And no, that
does not in include you can demand from us, fully random people, to fill
in that gap (and yell at us when whe refuse). Go talk to your mom,
maybe she will (still) indulge you ...

And as I said, you have a number of choices (Linux, XP) to make the
"websites web" usable for you again. Its your choice, and yours alone,
to refuse to even consider them.

- - - I PROMISE, I WONT FEED TROLLS - - -

Than you will die very soon. :-)

But no, I do not really still think that you're a troll. Just someone
with quaint ideas about who is responsible for choices *you* are making.

Regards,
Rudy Wieser.

I think I'm done with this thread. Ralph does seem to be trolling to me, or
else... I don't know. I don't want to say "idiot" but... I'll just quote him
he

You just come to this group to
spout off your ****ing mouth, with no brains behind it.....

I learned today that you cannot change an ugly thing by hiding it.
But I'm still not going to shave my beard off.

J. P. ,

Er - some people call that "the internet", reserving "the web"
to refer to just HTTP(S) ...

:-) I know. But I was not going to guess if our esteemed poster is one of
those 'some people' or not, so I used the more common explanation of it.

... as you then say (-:.

Yup. If only to indicate that I understood what he *might* have ment (and
at the same time rejecting it).

Rudy Wieser
