Screwed up .DLL has messed up "find target"
I just downloaded "office 97 eraser" from the microsoft website. When
I went to install it, it told me that several system files were out of date. I said OK to updating. BIG Mistake. Now, when I try to use the "find target" for a shortcut, or "open containing folder" in Find File, it doesn't work. Also, any suggestions to figure out what else it "updated"? Ok, I know this problem happened once before, and I fixed it by reinstalling a .dll file. However, I can't recall what it is nor can I find a bookmark about it. Could somebody refresh my memory on what dll file is corrupted by Microsoft's own software so I can restore from a backup? |
