All I know (having become one again having restored my Winme vhd) - based on
online reviews - is that it seems to have a mediocre performance at best and
as such all it could usefully do is give the user a dangerously false sense
of security.

Yes I do, but very limited at that, Corday.
Shane is probably right with his assessment of it, but for my needs it would
have been sufficient.
If you use the machine for every day chores, you can try it and see for
yourself, without causing any harm.
When you are done, can you let us know your opinion?
