New IE vulnerabilities
Well, if you are still using Internet Explorer then you are asking for
trouble. According to this Yahoo article, there now are even more IE vulnerabilities. "Based on 85 advisories published by Secunia between 2003 and 2005, about 25 percent of IE bugs remain unpatched. More than 40 percent of those advisories are serious enough to be used in system compromise attacks." http://news.yahoo.com/s/zd/20060501/tc_zd/177095 |

New IE vulnerabilities
Use Mozilla Firefox with its ability to use IE from within itself when
a website requires IE. Firefox has vulnerabilities, but they are spotted and sorted out more quickly than flaws in IE, because it is open-source software. Eric, PC Buyer Beware! http://www.pcbuyerbeware.co.uk/ |

The latest Netscape browser uses the Gecko rendering engine (also used by Firefox) by default, but can be switched to use the IE engine where desired. -- Tim Slattery MS MVP(DTS) |

There is an extension for FF ("I.E. Tab") which will enable this. Whether
this responds to any IE security concerns, I don't know. http://ietab.mozdev.org/ Tim Slattery wrote: "Eric" wrote: Use Mozilla Firefox with its ability to use IE from within itself when a website requires IE.
