Default Outlook Express problem: Solved

Thanks to all suggestions from all MVP's

I used Brian's post,
although I had 4 id's, I located the ID that had dbx's that
mirrored all those in my current OE folder.

I deleted and Bingo, all back to normal.

An easier way is to copy all of the inbox messages to the Drafts folder.
Close OE.
Open Explorer.
Expand C:\Windows\Application Data\Identities.
Expand the proper Identity if you have more than one.
Delete the Inbox.dbx in that Identity.
Close out.
Open OE.

Glad to see all is well. All in all it's just another brick in the wall.

Having one's problem fixed by intelligent, dignified and astute
people, is a joy to experience.
Realising those people also have good taste, makes you almost wish
for more breakdowns

Glad to see all is well. All in all it's just another brick in the

wall.

People in general, an MVP, or a breakdown?

Hmmm... Perhaps you and I qualify for all three?

You are welcome. Glad all is well.

But do you still have an InBox named Rodney that is 25 MB huge? PA Bear
has often said to keep the default OE folders small or empty, especially
the InBox. Perhaps create "Rodney's InBox" in the left pane as a
sub-folder to Local Folders, & move the ones you wish to keep into it.
Where has Bear gone to, anyhow?

Thanks or Good Luck,
There may be humor in this post, and,
Naturally, you will not sue,
should things get worse after this,

Anyone with "P" in his signature qualifies!
