USBPRN01 cannot access port
My Cannon i560 works very sporadically. I just tried
completelly uninstalling, then re-installing. I printed one document, then on trying another I got the usual: "Eror writing to USBPRN01. Cannot access port." When I look at properties, it tells me the USB pport is not connected. |

This is what Canon says about your error
Windows Me/98 In the printer's [Properties] dialog box, select the [Details] tab, and check the [Print to The Following Port] setting. When using a USB cable: The correct port is the port where the name of the printer connected to the PC is listed next to "USBPRNxxx" (where xxx denotes numbers). If a different port is displayed, click the down arrow button, and select the correct port from the list. When using a printer cable (parallel cable): "LPT1 Printer Port" is the correct port. If a different port is displayed, click the down arrow button, and select the correct port from the list. I've switched ports a few times, works temp only; so, I'm thinking something w/ USB ports, drivers...? -----Original Message----- This is what Canon says about your error Windows Me/98 In the printer's [Properties] dialog box, select the [Details] tab, and check the [Print to The Following Port] setting.
