Default Printing problem page no x of y

dear sir,

when i set page hearder auotomatic page x of y, it shows
on screen page 1 of 4, 2 of 4... but when I print on
paper, it print page 1 of 1 , 2 of 2 , 3 of 3 and 4 of
4,while it should be 1 of 4, 2 of 4, 3 of 4 and 4 of 4.

kindly advise the solution.

What program are you printing from? Does it fail to number correctly on
other documents or only this particular document?

I am printing from microsoft word docuemnt. it is wrong to
all documents.

This problem appears in an article in the Word Knowledge Base. It appears
that you need to download and install the Word 2000 SR1/1a Service Release.

WD2000: NumPages Field Prints Incorrect Results

In the future when you have a problem with Word, I suggest posting your
question to a newsgroup that supports Word. The folks that specialize in
this product can probably come up with your answers quicker.
