internet explorer freeze...

hola todos:

after runing from WinDoctor from SystemWorks 2002, the IE freeze , it's
load the home page (yahoo.com) fine, but when try to navegate to other
website the IE get freeze .
The problem doesn't affect other programs like Autocad or Word... etc. I try
to repair the browser ( in the add/remove software) but didn't work, also
when try to unisntall the IE 6 but only goes to IE 5 and the problem
continue.
The Windows Update also get freeze in the "Checking for the latest version
of the Windows Update Software". I'm doing this because trying to avoid to
reinstall the whole thing
again


Any help with this

Have you downloaded and installed IE6 SP1 from
http://support.microsoft.com/?

I would try using Mozilla Firefox from
http://www.mozilla.org/.

IE is no longer the best browser. It has many security
issues.
